My friend Lily is at Charleston Post Acute, she says they are treating her well. So far the staff seems very nice and helpful.

I am truly grateful and impressed with Charleston. My family member is s a resident and they’ve taken great care of him. He gets 3 forms of therapy and there is substantial progress. The facility is always clean. The staff pleasant and informative.

My auntie was very well taken care of for the 3 months at Charleston post acute, from the moment she was brought there and she’s not an easy patient due to her stroke she’s very agitated a lot of the times difficult. I’m so incredibly grateful for all the very nice CNA’S and RNA’s who took care of her they were very kind and patient I especially want to thank you cna Patricia and Chelsea for their kindness and I also want to thank everyone in administration from Steven to Pam and Michelle they worked tirelessly to help me keep my aunt at the facility and helped me get her to her new place once again can’t recommend Charleston P Q enough but it’s really because the very great people who work there much love

The staff at this facility were rude and unresponsive. Sending my mother there has negatively impacted her recovery, and I cannot recommend this facility. I believe my mother was neglected during her stay. She experienced two separate falls. After the first fall, she was left bruised. Approximately a week later, she fell again and complained of hip pain. The facility performed an X-ray and determined she had a fractured hip, requiring immediate hospitalization. At the hospital, doctors confirmed the fracture was new and informed us that without surgery, she would likely be confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. She underwent surgery shortly thereafter. These falls appear to have occurred because staff did not respond in a timely manner to her calls for assistance to use the bathroom. Unable to wait any longer, she attempted to go on her own and fell. When staff were confronted about her injuries, they stated they had no knowledge of the falls and suggested the injury was pre-existing. This is not accurate. Hospital physicians confirmed the fracture was new. Based on this experience, I strongly advise others to reconsider placing their loved ones in this facility.

I would advise no one to come here. They’re rude. No answers your call button and the place is filthy plus the food, it’s very bad. When I ask for help, I was told I was not the only patient here that they had 26 patients to take care of and to wait my turn. I’m going home tomorrow and I am very happy

Very customer service oriented from top to bottom. Clean facility and friendly staff. My father was there for 4 days and they took good care of him. Food was average but the gym was very well operated. Highly recommend.

My husband Ty and I try to visit at least twice a week. We enjoy helping with the activities and so enjoy visiting with the many residents that come to enjoy the activities. I really enjoy talking to all of them. The staff are always friendly and are getting to know us as we are now regular visitors. I wish I could do more for the residents but for now just seeing people who care about them will have to do.

My mom’s care team is really taking good care of her during her end of life care. I so appreciate them.

The nurses, the staff are all outstanding. Professional at all time and also the cleaning staff. Great Great and in my experience awesome.

Just visited a friend there. She had nothing but praise for the facility. She said it was the nicest one she has been in. I think it was very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I am impressed.

Lisa was very rude to my family and unprofessional. The facility is old, dirty and smelled bad. My dad received very poor quality care because of being understaffed. Do not send your love one to this place. Horrible!!!

I am from Indiana and this is twice I’ve visited here and it’s clean,wonderful staff and my friend enjoys living here. She has not once complained about anything here. Keep up the good work.

First let me acknowledge the good staff that demonstrated caring and professional qualities: Rosa, Beth, Barbara, TaNisha, Princess, Maria, Sallie, Gwinette and physical therapy personnel. In my opinion this facility lacks enough staff to tend to their patients. I was a spinal surgical patient who needed extra care. Being unable to move I was left unchanged for long periods, my face was not washed everyday and I didn’t receive a sponge bath until after 7 days. I was mishandled (pushing, pulling, and tugging) where my incision began pulling apart and had to be taken to my surgeon’s office. The facility needs a total physical cleaning/sanitation from top to bottom and complete renovation. I am speaking of a real cleaning — the patient rooms only receive a swift mopping, no dusting, no disinfectant cleaning of face bowls or toilets!!! The floors and equipment in the physical therapy room also need cleaning and disinfecting. Your first step into the lobby is cruddy and shabby. The staff offices are small and cramped squeezing more than 3 people into a tiny office. Before placing anyone here visit the facility.

My mom is a resident at this care home and I can honestly say that the name Charleston Acute Care is an understatement. The level of care that my mom receives here is unmatched by any other care home in the city. The staff not only cares for my mom, they actually befriended her, and respond quickly whether the issue is emergent or not. She’s been a part of their family for several years and they always make me feel like family as well.The staff is amazing! They don’t just greet me when I show up, they interact with me, help me when I have questions, support me, and my family when things get tough and hard decisions have to be made. The biggest word in the name of this home is care. I will always advocate for this place because of how amazing it is. Chelsea, Caroline, Veda, Tia, And so many more of their staff members from the doctors to the crew that keeps it spotless, I couldn’t ask for better people to care for my family.

The premises was very neat and clean. The staff was very kind and courteous, but failed to act upon initial request for assistance as acknowledged. A contradicting response was given pursuant to a follow-up.
